   Barnwell County has Three (3) Orbacom NT based TDM-150 CRT consoles. Each console has Six (6) radio modules, 13 single page buttons (9 fire departments and 4 EMS/rescue departments), dual instant recall recorder (64 minute radio plus 64 minute telephone) and an auxiliary control for remotely opening doors. We also incorporated the Emergency Siren controls in the system so there are no extra devices setting on the consoles. This gives a clean desktop and by doing this, we give all three consoles control of the sirens.
    The Orbacom is interfaced with a CML telco switch that gives ANI/ALI to the CAD system plus automatic mapping with location by address and longitude latitude. There is only one keyboard and one mouse to control all functions of the workstation.

John Angil is the Emergency Management Coordinator for Barnwell County and also in charge of the E-911 equipment. John wears many hats in the county and they all fit very well.
